One resounding comment that we heard from Ten for Tomorrow was the appreciation we have for our colleagues and the desire to be better connected. Thanks to Leandra LeClerc & Anna Kadlub, we are introducing Shields Virtual Job Shadow!

1. I design treatment plans for radiation oncology treatments.
2. I work very closely with the Radiation Oncologist to ensure that the patient receives a homogeneous dose and that we do not harm the patient by overdosing critical structures such as the spinal cord.
3. I monitor the workflow within the dosimetry department.
4. I assist in implementing new treatment planning techniques such as prone breast treatment and volumetric modulated arc therapy.
5. I assist in implementing and updating policies within the whole of Radiation Oncology.
